Spread over two days, Dutch Plantin presented the new production location in Boekel (The Netherlands) to a broad audience. The doors were open on Friday 24th of June for business relations and guests and on Saturday 25th of June all the stops were pulled out once again to introduce interested visitors to Dutch Plantin’s products. A dinner in a special setting, a glider flight over the region, insight into the production process and attention for the Amaidi Foundation formed the ingredients for two fantastic days.
At a high level
At a high level is how you can typify the festive entry into service of the new production location at De Vlonder 212, in Boekel. On Friday 24th of June, many of our faithful business relations were present at this important milestone. After a warm reception, the guests received a tour of the location, followed by culinary excellence. Hutten Catering served an exceptional dinner in a unique setting. Guests were served the most delicious dishes in the ‘restaurant’ in the middle of the cocopeat. After the taste buds had been spoilt the open day continued literally at a high level. From the nearby airbase: Vliegbasis Volkel, a glider transported everyone up into the clouds to view the environment from a different perspective. The guests appreciated the interesting and exciting program. During the informal closing drinks the experiences were the talking point.
Successful introduction
The next day, Dutch Plantin was open from 11.00 to 15.00 for the public. For many people this seemed the ideal occasion to get to know the business and our product. They saw not only how the coco production takes place but also discovered the many benefits of cocopeat. There was naturally a drink and snack at the successful introduction. There was also extensive attention for the charity that Dutch Plantin lovingly supports: the Amaidi Foundation. This foundation helps the local population in India to achieve initiatives in the area of schooling, health care, quality of life and environment. Thanks to the high turnout, the open day’s informative character and the many enthusiastic reactions afterwards, we can honestly talk of a resounding success!
