The trend we have seen in recent years continues unabated: global demand for our
growbags and 5 kilo blocks keeps growing. In the years to come, we will therefore
once again invest heavily in our production capacity. What sets us apart is the fact
that we have complete control over our entire production process from start to finish,
both in the Netherlands and the countries of origin. This ensures we can maintain
constant control over the entire supply chain.
The growth rate differs per market
Demand for our products is growing all over the world, although the exact rate of growth
differs per market. In several countries, demand for our 5 kilo blocks and growbags is
growing. These products are increasingly being used for the cultivation of vegetables, soft
fruit and flowers.
Growing peppers on substrates? Now is the time!
The European market is also growing. In the next few years, we expect to see a further
increase in the use of coconut substrates for both strawberry and vegetable cultivation. In
particular, we are seeing a marked shift towards the use of coconut substrates in the pepper
sector.
Why is that? More and more professional growers are recognising the added value of both
the constant quality and optimal water management of our products and our delivery
reliability. Together, these elements form the basis for reliable performances and in turn
excellent crop yields.
Optimal root environment and stable cultivation
In the Netherlands, we produce loose coconut substrates with the RHP hallmark in Boekel
and Helmond. Our coarser coconut products are increasingly popular among clients. These
contribute to an optimal root environment and stable cultivation process. Coconut perfectly
suits the new and improved compositions of potting soil mixtures.

The growing demand for sustainable cultivation substrates offers myriad opportunities to
further strengthen our position in these markets. It goes without saying that we will keep
