Nicht umsonst gedeiht diese Pflanze traditionell auf Torfb\u00f6den, weswegen viele niederl\u00e4ndische Z\u00fcchter torfhaltige Substrate verwenden. Vor f\u00fcnf Jahren experimentierten Z\u00fcchter in Mexiko allerdings mit anderen N\u00e4hrb\u00f6den. Seitdem ist der Anbau von Heidelbeeren auf Kokossubstrat explosionsartig angestiegen.<\/p>\n<h2>Hundert Prozent rein<\/h2>\n<p>Jedes Jahr beginnen Z\u00fcchter nicht nur in Mexiko, sondern auch in Spanien und Portugal mit dem Anbau von Heidelbeeren auf 100% reinem Kokossubstrat. Auf Kokos l\u00e4sst sich der pH-Wert n\u00e4mlich gut steuern. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ist die Bew\u00e4sserung im Vergleich zu Freilandanbau oder anderen Substraten leichter kontrollierbar. Auf dem Bild das Ergebnis: Diese Pflanzen wurden im Jahr 2015 in Spanien auf hundert Prozent reinem Kokossubstrat angepflanzt. Mit einem guten, stabilen Qualit\u00e4tssubstrat wird diese Z\u00fcchtung noch viele Jahre fortbestehen!<\/p>\n<h2>Eine umweltfreundliche Alternative<\/h2>\n<p>Ein weiterer Grund f\u00fcr den Wechsel auf Kokossubstrat: es ist viel nachhaltiger als Substrat auf Torfbasis. Sobald Torf einmal abgegraben ist, dauert es Tausende von Jahren, bis der Boden wieder torfhaltig ist. W\u00e4hrend Kokosn\u00fcsse jedes Jahr erneut an den B\u00e4umen wachsen.
